Bestfriend.

"The best kind of friend is the one you could sit on a porch swing with, never saying a word, and walk away feeling like that was the best conversation you've ever had."

I love that I have that with my bestie!

Just start singing.

Today my church Reverence Bible Church  had our very first Christmas Women's Tea. I was asked to host a table, I was so Blessed. A very close friend of mine, Mrs. Robin Gammie flew out here from Colorado Springs and was our guest speaker. She is such a Blessing to our church and me! I had a very hard couple of days this week, and I just felt like the message spoke directly to me... Don't dwell on what people say or think about you that is hurtful. When those times are hard we were encouraged to just give it to God. Sing Praises to him in Song. He promises us in Romans 8:28 that he will work everything out to the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purpose. He is so faithful and always fulfills His promises to us. Look at the most important promise He made, to send a savior to us. The Lord fulfilled Him promise by sending His one and only Son to die on the cross for our sins. Who can not love a savior like that? Someone who is so sovereign and good to us, one who blesses us tremendously when we deserve it least. This Christmas is different. I am so joyful for the wonderful blessing of Jesus. Singing those Christmas hymns today, all the women of the church, moved me to tears. Such a harmonic sound, women after God's own heart, Praising Jesus! "Strength and honor [are] her clothing; She shall rejoice in time to come" Proverbs 31:25

So great to have shared such an amazing blessing with friends :)

How can keep from singing...

There is an endless song
Echoes in my soul
I hear the music ring

And though the storms may come
I am holding on
To the rock I cling

How can I keep from singing Your praise
How can I ever say enough
How amazing is Your love
How can I keep from shouting Your name
I know I am loved by the King
And it makes my heart want to sing

I will lift my eyes
In the darkest night
For I know my Savior lives

And I will walk with You
Knowing You'll see me through
And sing the songs You give

I can sing in the troubled times
Sing when I win
I can sing when I lose my step
And fall down again
I can sing 'cause You pick me up
Sing 'cause You're there
I can sing 'cause You hear me, Lord
When I call to You in prayer
I can sing with my last breath
Sing for I know
That I'll sing with the angels
And the saints around the throne

1 Peter 3:14 But even if you should suffer for righteousness' sake, [you are] blessed. "And do not be afraid of their threats, nor be troubled." [fn]

1Peter 3:15 But sanctify the Lord God [fn] in your hearts, and always [be] ready to [give] a defense to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you, with meekness and fear;

1Peter 3:16 having a good conscience, that when they defame you as evildoers, those who revile your good conduct in Christ may be ashamed.

1Peter 3:17 For [it is] better, if it is the will of God, to suffer for doing good than for doing evil.

1Peter 3:18 For Christ also suffered once for sins, the just for the unjust, that He might bring us [fn] to God, being put to death in the flesh but made alive by the Spirit,

1Peter 3:19 by whom also He went and preached to the spirits in prison,

"We were peas in a pod
Gotta thank almighty God
That we're together
We're together"

I am so happy and Blessed. God is so good! Praise God for great friends!

Be glad in the LORD and rejoice, you righteous; And shout for joy, all [you] upright in heart! Psalm 32:11

Crazy Day!

So I started my day off by waking up to a screaming 4 year old! I did an overnighter babysitting job. I felt like a soccer mom, except instead of soccer we went to taekwondo. Anyways so we ran some errands, first to target... the worst! Taking a 4 and 6 year old to target is insane, running all through the clothes racks! So then we went to the lake to feed the ducks. So the little girl had some bread in her hand and a couple of geese hopped out of the water and started coming towards her. Then some pigeons made the geese mad, so they started flying and flapping their wings... she freaked out and started screaming hysterically, and jumped a little cement planter and held onto me. All the joggers running by stopped to see if she was okay. Oh goodness it was funniest thing ever, poor kid... haha I was dying! She was so mad we laughed! Now she never wants to go back to feed the ducks! So then I come home after 23 hours of babysitting to find my puppy crying and shaking. I was so freaked out, we found one of the only vets open and made an emergency appointment to take him in. So the vet is in Tustin, its 215 and they close at 3. So I hop on the toll road, because its a bit of a faster route. Out of nowhere I see a Highway Patrol speeding behind me inching closer and closer... then the LIGHTS! AHHHHHH NOOOOOOO! Dang. So he says What's the deal? Then I respond, I'm sorry officer, my puppy is sick and I'm on my way to the vet to take him to an emergency visit. So he is like, well do you know how fast you were going? Yes a little under 80. He's like how about a lot over 80, I clocked you at just under 90 miles an hour. WRONG. There is no way I was going that fast, but I wasn't about to sit there and disagree. I needed to get my pup to the vet. He ends up giving me a ticket anyway. He comes back and is like so I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt and only clock you at 85... So rude! Plus he takes forever, even knowing the circumstances! I got a ticket on the toll road about 3 years ago clocked at 83 and it was $280! So this one will probably hit $300. Insane. Maybe God is trying to teach me to slow down a bit!

Well at least Mike comes home tomorrow! I am sooooo excited :D
