Reasons why its fun being mexican.

I have decided I need to blog more about my life and what happens in it because i tend to have the most random things happen. And I'm sure others would appreciate a good laugh now and then...

Haha. We always have a good time.
Here is my List of Reasons:

1. So many family members, 38 first cousins alone, you always have someone to hangout with!

2. My Abuelita- Probably the sweetest lady ever. She is so cute and has such a love for the family. She calls me her Princessa. Always welcomes anyone who comes into her home and ready to feed them! Definitely someone I look up to. I love and adore my grandma.

3. Sayings like the following: "That's Mines", "Chut up la Boca", You Member when...", "I Know Huh", and my one my cousin is famous for saying "Save Me Some." anytime we are eating.

4. My aunts speak perfect english yet manage to butcher the following words:
  1. Banilla: Vanilla
2. Sneak-ers: Snickers
3. Porch-es: Porche
4. Sharly Sheen: Charlie Sheen
5. Ceasars: Scissors
6. Sherman of the Board: Chairman of the boards.
7. Burr-ly: Barely
8. Ask: Axs
9. Sherman Shepherd: German Shepherd
10. Dramatized: traumatized
11. Shares- Chairs

5.
The Music! I LOVE Mexican Music, all types. I will have time at my wedding to dance, because at Fiesta we dance all night!!

6. The Facts: Putting "vics" on your chest when your sick, you are scared of getting hit with the "chancla", you love "bolees" and you are afraid of the "cucuy". Reminds me so much of my childhood.

My family is referred to as "white washed" but no matter what I still have my roots and I will always love being mexican. We have been through so much together, it makes us stronger, and we are there for each other no matter what. My family always has so much fun in everything! I love them!

** You have to watch this, so funny! And if you get a chance and want to see something hilarious look up (George Lopez- Why you Crying) on youtube.

Dead Fish.

Sunday morning my brother and I found his beta fish "dead" on the floor before leaving for church. My brother is a tardo and filled the bowl to the rim with water... it must have jumped out and fallen about 3.5 feet. As he is picking it up he thinks he sees it move and throws it back in the bowl. I come in his room later in the afternoon to find it swimming. So I renamed him Lazarus.

El Olam

El Olam- The Eternal God, The Everlasting God.

He is the Beginning and the End, the One who works His purposes throughout the ages. He gives strength to the weary. Jesus Christ possesses eternal attributes. He is the same yesterday and today and forever. He obtained eternal redemption for us.

Then [Abraham] planted a tamarisk tree in Beersheba, and there called on the name of the LORD, the Everlasting God.- Genesis 21:33

"Before the mountains were brought forth, Or ever You had formed the earth and the world, Even from everlasting to everlasting, You [are] God."-Psalm 90:2

"Have you not known? Have you not heard? The everlasting God, the LORD, The Creator of the ends of the earth, Neither faints nor is weary. His understanding is unsearchable."-Isaiah 40:28

"For since the creation of the world His invisible [attributes] are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, [even] His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse."-Romans 1:20

"But the LORD [is] the true God; He [is] the living God and the everlasting King. At His wrath the earth will tremble, And the nations will not be able to endure His indignation."-Jeremiah 10:10

"Trust in the LORD forever, For in Yah, the LORD, [is] everlasting strength."-Isaiah 26:4

Meaning and Derivation: El is another name that is translated as "God" and can be used in conjunction with other words to designate various aspects of God's character. Olam derives from the root word 'lm (which means "eternity"). Olam literally means "forever," "eternity," or "everlasting". When the two words are combined — El Olam — it can be translated as "The Eternal God."

God You are so faithful and so good to us. When are so unworthy of Your the love and grace You gives us... yet You continue to pour Your blessings on us everyday. You give me strength to live each day to Glorify You in everything that comes in my path. You never faint or are weary. Even when we are disobedient to You Oh Lord you are so faithful to leave the 99 and retrieve that one. You are the same today tomorrow and forever. Lord You never change or fade away. You are so Sovereign and God full of love, grace and mercy! Praise You this night!

Thank You Jesus

What can take a dying man and raise him up to life again?
What can heal a wounded soul?
What can make us white as snow?
What can fill the emptiness?
What can mend our brokenness?
Brokenness

Mighty, awesome, wonderful
Is the holy cross
Where the Lamb laid down His life
To lift us from the fall
Mighty is the power of the cross

What restores our faith in God?
What reveals the Father's love?
What can lead the wayward home?
What can melt a heart of stone?
What can free the guilty ones
What can save and overcome?
Overcome

It's a miracle to me
And It's still a mystery
It's a miracle to me
The power of God
For those who believe

Mighty, awesome, wonderful
Is the holy cross
Where the Lamb laid down His life
To lift us from the fall
Mighty is the power of the cross

Thank You for the cross
Love the cross
So Powerful...... ohhhhh yeahhh
What can take a dying man?
And raise him up to life again?

Worship You Jesus
By your wounds we are healed
By your wounds we are saved
Mighty is the power of the cross
Thank You Jesus for the Holy cross

-Thank You Jesus for loving us so much. Thank You Jesus for enduring the cross and dying for our sins. You are so Good and so Worthy to be Praised. Glory be to God. Thank You for this day and the blessings you constantly pour out on your children. You are such a Sovereign Lord. I Pray that we truly live to Glorify You Lord God and Enjoy You forever...

These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world." John 16:33
